Forgiveness can set you free!

Is there someone in your life that you are having a hard time forgiving? Have you ever thought about the fact that by not forgiving them all you are doing is harming yourself? Forgiveness can and will set you free. This doesn't mean that you need to forgive everyone for everything right away; but take some time to look into yourself and find the the things that you're holding onto that are holding you back and causing you more pain. Commit to setting these people free and ultimately you yourself will be free as well. If you want to take it one step further and wish these people well while you grant them forgiveness you will be well on your way to a calm and happy heart!

"The only way to learn forgiveness is to be betrayed. You might understand the intellectual concept of forgiveness, but you will only learn how to truly forgive when someone has done something that requires you to love them and let it go. Life demands these hurtful experiences for you to learn how forgiveness feels, it could be no other way. If there is anyone in your life that you must forgive, instead of seeing them as someone who has hurt you, try to see them as someone who was sent to teach you forgiveness and thank them for this precious gift - then forgive them, and let it go." - Jackson Kiddard

Some quotes just say it all...

"We attain freedom as we let go of whatever does not reflect our magnificence. A bird cannot fly high or far with a stone tied to its back. But release the impediment, and we are free to soar to unprecedented heights." - Alan Cohen

WYO

Last weekend I spent the weekend in Wyoming with my family for Patrick and Emily's wedding... it was such a blast and one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. While the wedding was the most important part of the weekend, it was also getting to spend time with my family (especially GRACE) that made it so special.

You know my mom and I can't pass up a drive through animal park...
