If you are in the mood for a light-hearted romantic comedy-(ish) I would definitely recommend seeing this film. It is a typical "boy meets girl and falls in love and gets his heart broken" story line but the set-up of the movie keeps things interesting in that you go back and forth over the happenings of Tom and Summer's 500 day relationship. It's the story of a true under-dog which I have always considered myself to be so I rationalized well with Tom's character. Not to mention Summer's wardrobe is absolutely A-dorable. The boys can probably skip this one.
